A court today has granted four-day remand to SI Kaikobad Pathan of Kalapahariya police camp in Araihazar upazila and his two accomplices, who were arrested with weapons and phensedyls from Sonargaon in Narayanganj.

Police produced the accused in the court of Narayanganj Senior Judicial Magistrate Milton Hossain on Tuesday afternoon and sought a seven-day remand in the arms and drug case. After the hearing, the court granted four days of remand in each of the two cases. 

Court police inspector Md. Asaduzzaman confirmed the remand of the accused. 

Earlier on Monday afternoon, a team of RAB-3 Battalion arrested SI Kaikobad and his two accomplices along with two foreign pistols including 25 rounds of ammunition and 240 bottles of phensedyls from the Meghna Toll Plaza area of ​​the upazila on the Dhaka-Chattogram Highway.

Later, RAB became the plaintiff and filed two separate cases against them under the Arms and Narcotics Act with Sonargaon Police Station. 

Police sent three accused, including SI Kaikobad, to court in the case on Tuesday morning. The court later granted them four days remand.
