Saiful Islam made this solar powered bicycle after trying for six months. Eventually he crossed the Padma river on his own bicycle. It can move on water-land. It can be said that Saiful's solar powered bicycle runs on amphibians. Saiful can also make solar powered planes.

Saiful's home is in Paikpara village of Madhukhali upazila of Faridpur. He is the son of A. Razzak Mollah of that village. Saiful was the manager of Saltha Upazila branch of Solar Shakti Alo in Faridpur.

He later joined GM Trade International, a pharmaceutical company, as a senior medical promotion officer. Now he is working in Comilla of that company.He lives in a rented house in Shasnagachha area of ​​Comilla city.


Saiful said, “The handlebars and carriers of the bicycle I made have solar panels. Four round tubes on either side of two wheels. With the help of the tube, the bicycle floats in the water. You don't have to use pedals to ride a bike. Because it runs on solar energy. "

Saiful said, the bicycle can be ridden not only on water but also on land. Then the tube is stuck on both sides of the four wheels. The cost to make the bicycle is around 20 thousand Taka. And it took six months.

Saiful is currently trying to invent solar-powered rice harvesters and rickshaw pullers. He is also trying to build a solar-powered speedboat with a capacity of 15 people. Which will run on the shore as well as in the water.
