Executive Magistrate Tarek Hawlader of Bhola Daulatkhan Upazila has fined 10 people in Bhola Daulatkhan Upazila Tk 25,650 for not complying with the strict lockdown prohibited by the government.

The fine was imposed on Tuesday (July 26) by conducting separate raids in different parts of the upazila throughout the day.

At the time, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Tareq Hawlader said the fine was imposed for disobeying government instructions to keep the shop open, going out without wearing a mask and wandering outside unnecessarily.

He added that the law enforcement agencies will be in a strict position to abide by the government directives. I will take any punitive action including arrest and fine for violating the instructions.
