As an outlook for the next 72 hours, Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Tuesday predicted: "Temperature may rise further." 

The Met Office also forecasted that weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9:00 am today.  

Besides, day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, said a Met office release issued today. 

The country’s maximum temperature was recorded yesterday by 35.5 degree Celsius at Sitakunda under the Chattogram division and the minimum temperature today was recorded by 16.6 degree Celsius at Dinajpur under the Rangpur division.
