Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Sunday predicted day and night temperature may fall slightly over the country.  

The Met Office also forecasted that rain or thundershowers at a few places of the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9:00 am today.   

"Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Sylhet division and weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country," said a Met Office release issued this morning. 

The country’s maximum temperature was recorded yesterday at 36.0 degrees Celsius at Rangamati and Sitakunda while today's minimum temperature was 14.8 degrees Celsius at Sayedpur under the Rangpur division. Today’s sunset at Dhaka at 6:07 pm and tomorrow’s sunrise will be at 6:07 am.
