61 more martyrs have been recognized as heroic freedom fighters. With this, the number of martyred freedom fighters stood at 3,295.

This recognition was announced at the 70th meeting of the Jatiya Muktijoddha Council (Jamuka). A gazette was issued on March 21in this regard.At the same time, fake certificates of 10 freedom fighters of Kushtia district have also been canceled. 

Another gazette has been issued canceling the civilian gazette. This has also been done as per the decision of the agenda of the 70th meeting of Jamuka.
