Eight leaders and activists of Bangladesh Chhatra Adhikar Parishad have been remanded in-different tenure in two separate cases filed with Shahbagh and Motijheel police stations. 

Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate of Dhaka Tofazzal Hossain and Dahaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mohammad Jasim granted the remand order after a hearing from both parties on Sunday.

Accused Rabiul Hasan, Al Amin, Sajal, and Nazmul Karim Sohag were remanded for four days each in the case filed with Shahbagh Police Station. While the rest four accused were remanded for 2 days each.

The first case was filed on March 25 following a clash between students and Bangladesh Chhatra Adhikar Parishad at Motijheel. Another case was filed with Shahbagh Police Station on March 27 in connection with the scuffle in front of the Press Club.
