During the month of Ramadan, the government has fixed the office hours of all government, semi-government, autonomous and semi-autonomous organizations from 9 am to 3:30 pm. The decision was taken at a weekly cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at the Prime Minister's Office on Monday.

Cabinet Secretary Khandaker Anwarul Islam briefed reporters about the cabinet meeting at the Secretariat in the afternoon. Depending on the sighting of the moon, the Muslim month of Ramadan, Ramadan, will begin on April 3 or 4.
