Today, May 23 is the birthday of media personality Rezaur Rahman Rizvi. Rizvi is regularly working in various fields of media in Bangladesh. He has worked simultaneously as a playwright, lyricist, presenter, actor and presentation instructor. Rizvi's song has been sung by more than a hundred artists from Bangladesh and India. Renowned actors of our country have acted in the play written by Rizvi. Rizvi himself has also acted regularly in television dramas several years ago. He has also presented a number of programs on various channels, including newspaper-based live talk shows and celebrity shows.

Rizvi has also worked as a presentation instructor. Most recently, in the last week of October 2020, he worked as a trainer in a five-day ‘Presentation Training Course-2020’ organized by the Cultural Institute of Rangamati's Minority Ethnic Group.

As an author, Rizvi has already published 8 books. Among them are two television drama books, a lyric book, two poetry books, two short story books and a story collection book. It is learned that he will be writing books on novels and presentations in the future.

Rizvi has worked as a professional journalist for two decades in various online and newspapers including Daily Ajker Kagoj, Daily Shamakal, Daily Jai jai Din, Daily Janakantha, Daily Manobkantha, Daily Bangladesh Journal.

In recognition of his work, Rizvi received as best journalist- the Rodosi Award (2008), the Lalmohan Foundation Award (2008), the Warm Valley Award (2011) and the Mother Teresa Gold Award (2012), as the Best Lyricist and Playwright- Human Rights Award-2017, Banglar Sangeet Swadhinata Swarak (2017), Banglar Sangeet Performance Award (2017) and 'Bari Siddiqui Sammanna-2020' as a presentation instructor.

Rizvi is currently working as the Media Manager in the Health Sector of Dhaka Ahsania Mission. Organizationally, he is associated with various cultural and journalist organizations including Television Playwrights Association, Actors Equity, Dhaka Union of Journalists, Bangladesh Cine Journalists Association, Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists, Bangladesh ICT Journalists Forum etc.

Regarding his own birthday, Rizvi said, I never have to celebrate my birthday by organizing. Not again. Because the whole world is now blocked because of Corona. Survival in this blocked world is the struggle now. So, my call to everyone, be careful yourself, be careful family. And pray for me, so that I can continue to work regularly in the media.
