Rabbi Sarker : ‘Poet Sukanta’ rightly says in his poem, ‘The world is prose in the realm of hunger’ The full moon is like scorched bread. The truth of the poem has been found by people of all walks of life in the ongoing lockdown of last year and this year. The lockdown is still going on, maybe the possibility of further extension of the lockdown cannot be ruled out.

Because the Corona epidemic is increasing day by day but not decreasing. During the lockdown last year, the middle class, lower middle class and the extremely poor received government and non-government assistance, but the current lockdown does not show those signs.

Ahazari is going on everywhere. Throughout the last week of June, the Corona epidemic took a deadly turn again. As a result, the government has been forced to give a lockdown in the interest of saving people's lives. Educational institutions have been closed since last year.

The students are spending their days lazily due to lack of education. Some of them are involved in various professions in their spare time and are making a living for the benefit of their families. Last year, during the Corona epidemic, the government kept the process of selling cattle, including agricultural products, in the interest of keeping the wheel of the rural economy moving.

The government was forced to declare a seven-day lockdown in July as the Corona epidemic took a deadly turn. Decided to extend the lockdown again by 7 days. The fact is that the number of victims is increasing every day, the number of deaths is also increasing at a mathematical rate. As a result, the administration, police, BGB and army have taken to the field to implement the lockdown. Freight cars are moving. Passenger cars are closed. By the grace of Allah, the number of victims in Chittagong-Cox's Bazar has increased but the number of deaths is much less.

That is why the administration is trying to implement a strict lockdown for disease prevention. But the middle class, lower middle class and extremely poor people are in big trouble. Who can't say, can't sign. Most unemployed people are homeless. Many are taking to the streets in search of survival. But the goodwill of the administration and law enforcement agencies is not less.

Last year, Eid-ul-Adha was celebrated during Corona. The cattle and the owners of the cattle have sold and sold the cattle in accordance with the health rules. This year too, thousands of cattle have been reared to sell cattle on Eid-ul-Adha. The number of owners of these cattle is not less. Farm and poor cattle owners raise cows, buffaloes, goats and sheep and sell them in the market on Eid-ul-Azha (at the time of sacrifice) to pay various debts and meet the expenses of the family. The ceremony is completed.

However, during the Corona epidemic, marriages were not solemnized, but at the village level, marriages were being performed quietly and silently. Some "pilgrim crows" are spreading rumors about the sale of cattle in the market in the interest of maintaining their livelihood. When you read these fairy tales, it seems that corona is spread only from the cattle market. But the official decision is that the market will be open in the open from 9 am to 5 pm, people will buy and sell according to the health rules. Especially in Shibpur of Narsingdi, thousands of cows, goats, buffaloes and sheep have been reared for sale in the Eid Bazaar.

If they fail to sell cattle in the market due to any administrative decision, they will be deprived of getting a fair price for their cattle.
