Fire hits Mirzapur Bazar

A fire broke out at Pakulya Bazar in Tangail’s Mirzapur upazila. The fire started at around 6.30 pm on Sunday from an oil-filled truck in front of Manoranjan Saha's grocery store in Pakulya Bazar. The fire seriously injured two men and damaged 10 shops in the market

Tangail Fire Service Deputy Director Rezaul Karim confirmed the incident. He said five firefighting units' members, including three from Mirzapur Fire Station, were working to put out the blaze. 

Locals said, people immediately tried to put out the fire. But within moments, the fire spread around a large area. It is expected to lose about a crore taka.

Pop Rajbangshi, son of Chandi Rajbangshi and Ananda Rajbangshi, son of Manindra Rajbangshi of Pakulya village were severely burnt in the fire. They were taken to Dhaka. Until this report is written, the fire service personnel are trying to bring the fire under control.
