A special discussion meeting and prayer mehfil was held in Dohar, Dhaka, marking the holy Ashura and the 10th of Muharram. The religious event took place on Friday afternoon (June 26, 2026) in the courtyard of Wasek's residence in Ward No. 7 of Dohar Municipality.

During the session, speakers discussed the profound significance of holy Ashura, the tragic history of Karbala, and the historic sacrifice of Imam Hussain (RA) in his stance against injustice and oppression.

Abul Hashem Bepari, Senior Vice President of Dhaka District Jubo Dal, attended the program as the chief guest. Local leaders of Jubo Dal, Chhatra Dal, and various affiliated organizations, alongside local dignitaries and religious devotees from all walks of life, participated in the gathering.

The event concluded with special prayers and supplications (Munajat), seeking eternal peace for the souls of the martyrs of Karbala and praying for the peace, prosperity, and well-being of the nation and the Muslim Ummah.
