Good kick-off for Bangladesh defeating Kyrgyzstan

Bangladesh started its Nepal mission by defeating Kyrgyzstan. Jamie Day's men beat Kyrgyzstan 1-0 in their first match of the tri-nation tournament.The invitational football tournament kicked off with the match between Bangladesh and Kyrgyzstan Olympic teams in Kathmandu on Tuesday.

In the 18th minute of the match, captain Sohel Rana's shot was blocked by Kyrgyz defender standing in the box, which was ignored by the Nepalese referee.

Bangladesh took the lead in the 40th minute of the match with an own goal by the Kyrgyz. Saad Uddin entered the box with the ball on the right side and took the cross. Kyrgyz defender Kumarabaj Ulu Baiman sent that into the net to clear the ball. 

After that, both teams tried to score but failed. Bangladesh coach Jamie Day made several changes in the team in the second half. He replaced three players in the 57th minute. Masuk Mia Johnny was replaced by Jamal Bhuyan, Bipolu Ahmed by Rakib and Habibur Rahman Sohag by Riyadul Hasan.

Jamie then made two more changes. He picked up Mehdi Hasan in the 65th minute and replaced him with Manik Mollah, and in the 72nd minute, he replaced Yasin Arafat as Bishwanath Ghosh. But till the end, Bangladesh could not make the 1-0 victory bigger.
