British Royal Navy jet Hawk crashes in Cornwall

A British Royal Navy jet has crashed in a field in Cornwall, a county and an English unitary authority located on UK’s rugged southwestern tip.

Two pilots were immediately ejected from the Hawk aircraft from the 736 Naval Air Squadron, based at RNAS Culdrose, the country’s Ministry of Defence (MoD) confirmed.According to Journalist citing the MoD, an investigation into the crash will begin in due course.

Cornwall Air Ambulance said it responded to reports of an “aircraft engine failure” in the Helston area, with two men on board suffering “minor injuries”.They have been airlifted to Derriford Hospital, however, their conditions are not “life-threatening,” reports.

“Emergency services are currently in the St Martins area of Helston following reports of a plane crash,” said Devon and Cornwall Police in a statement.
