Four policemen including a sub-inspector were withdrawn for making some children hold their ears and do squats, a form of punishment for schoolchildren, when they went to play at the Tetultala playground in Dhaka's Kalabagan area.

They were attached to the office of deputy commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (Ramna Division), said Sazzadur Rahman, DC of the division. Besides, a four-member investigation committee was formed to probe the incident and the committee was asked to submit its report within four working days.
