In Noakhali, the housewife was stripped naked and the head of the case, Aasmi Badal, was arrested from Narayanganj and Delwar from Dhaka. They were arrested on Monday (October 5) morning. Earlier, police arrested two people in the incident on Sunday. The victim filed a case against nine people under the Pornography and Women and Child Abuse Prevention Act.

After the video went viral, there was a storm of protest on social media. Everyone has demanded justice for this cruel and barbaric incident. According to the relatives, the woman moved to her father’s house in Noakhali after falling out with her husband. Since then, local Rahim, Badal, Kalam and their associates have been harassing at different times.

On September 2, her ex-husband came to visit the housewife. At that time, the local scoundrels tied him up claiming to be a stranger. Later, he entered the house, stripped the housewife naked and drove her away. The video was recorded and spread on social media.

One month after the incident, no one opened their mouths for fear as the culprits were influential. But recently the video spread through social media. Eklashpur Union Parishad Acting Chairman Firoz Alam Bhuiyan said those involved in the heinous incident should be arrested as soon as possible.

Noakhali Police Super Md. Alamgir Hossain said that no one involved in the incident of harassing the housewife will be spared. Five units of the district police are working in the field to provide legal assistance to the accused and the families of the accused. Intense protests began after the video went viral on social media. Everyone has demanded a fair trial by bringing all those involved in the incident to justice.
