National Film Award-winning director and actor Kazi Hayat has returned home after being hospitalized for 14 days due to coronavirus.

Confirming the matter, Kazi Hayat’s son Kazi Maruf said father’s Covid-19 report came negative on Saturday night. It was then planned to take him home. 

Kazi Hayat took the coronavirus vaccine along with his family on March 2, however, felt a slight fever on March 6. He and his wife were diagnosed with the virus on March 8.

Later, he was taking treatment from home as per the doctor’s advice. But when their condition suddenly deteriorated, they were admitted to the Popular Hospital in the capital on March 16.
