Embassy inaugurates 'Bangladesh Pavilion' at the Multiculture Museum in Seoul

At the initiative of the Embassy of Bangladesh in Seoul, the colourful ‘Bangladesh Pavilion’ at the Multiculture Museum in Seoul was inaugurated. Ambassador Abida Islam and Mr. Kim Yun Tae, Director of the Multiculture Museum jointly inaugurated the Pavilion. The Pavilion exhibited Bangladeshi exclusive handicrafts -rickshaws, jute handicrafts, ceramic items, traditional cloths and dolls, nakshi kantha, earthen handicrafts, brass boats etc.

Moreover, books on the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman including the Korean versions of the ‘Unfinished Memoirs’, ‘BANGABANDHU THE PEOPLE’S HERO’ and Bangabandhu’s Historic 7th March Speech were displayed at the centre of the pavilion for the visitors. This pavilion would make the South Korean visitors more interested in the culture and tradition of Bangladesh and the political philosophy of Father of the Nation and his contributions to the creation of Bangladesh.
